Can't Access my 320GB Hard Drive, Only 120GB is being detected.

I am using win 7 os.
When last time i reformatted my system i was only able to see 120 gb my HDD is 320 gb even before formatting it was 320 GB only now i wonder wats wronh with my HDD.
Even i chkd my disk management but it is also detecting only 120 gb
, i don know what to do, Can somebody tell me is it my Hard disk is crashed or corrupted ??? if so then why only 120GB is useable>???

There used to be a barrier at 127 GB if I remember correctly, so that may well be the problem with your BIOS.
 Check with your manufacturer for an update to it.
 
 My guess is that you were using some kind of special driver with that as Palcouk suggests, to get around the barrier that you lost when you reformatted.
 It probably came packaged with the hard drive, but either that or flashing (updating) the BIOS should
get you around the problem.
