I'm having a problem in Office 2007, particularly Excel and Outlook where I will copy some content that is rich in formatting, but when I paste it appears as plain text instead.

For example, I want to copy a Cell in Excel that is highlighted in yellow and then paste that same highlighted cell somewhere else.
When I do a simple Copy and Paste, it will only Paste the plain text and not the formatting.

What has happened and how can I fix this? Previously a simple Copy & Paste would take all of the formatting with it, and I preferred it that way.
Even if I try Paste Special, it still will not give me the option to include formatting, it only allows
Unicode Text or Text.

Since the 13th of March (2012), there has been a large number of complaints that the Paste Special option in Excel (and Word) offers fewer options than it normally does.
Initially it wasn't clear what caused this problem, but it's starting to look like a recent update to the Skype Click-to-Call browser add-in is the culprit.
