I have a computer that is in a continuous boot loop.
Somehow I got to a place where I recieved an error message: infile txtsetup.sif error status 256.
Does anyone have a SIMPLE step by step repair? I am not a techy so I need really simple instructions.

1.       Have you made any changes on the computer prior to this issue?
2.       What is the exact error message?
Check if the issue persists in safe mode (Step 1).
If the issue does not persist in safe mode then, perform clean boot (Step 2) on your computer.

After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
a.    Click Start, and then click
Run.

b.    Type msconfig, and then click OK.
The System Configuration Utility dialog box is displayed.

c.    Click the General tab, click
Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services, and then click OK.
d.    When you are prompted, click Restart to restart the computer.
You may use Disable automatic restart on system failure and check for the error message and post back the same.
Here is how you do it:
Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard.
On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.
Select Disable automatic restart on system failure option when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and then press ENTER.

Open Action Center by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under System and Security, clicking Review your computer's status.

Make sure your computer has at least the minimum amount of random access memory (RAM) required to run the program that is displaying the error. Look for the program requirements online or in the packaging information.
