Cursor keeps jumping all over; also Windows Media Player duplicated files every time played.

Original title: I have a problem with all word processing functions from Word to writing emails.
My cursor keeps jumping all over the place.
Other problem programs are all word processing ones.
I also have the problem with WMP (Windows Mediia Player) It keeps copying every song each time I open it.
Some songs have 5 or 6 copies now. I tried the suggested solution but with no success.
It seems
that ever since I installed Windows 7 my computer is going wacky with a new problem each week or more.
Is there some kind of patch or fix to the OS because it is very frustrating.
My laptop is becoming  so plagued by problems it's almost useless.

Step 1:
Jumping cursor issue could be due to high sensitivity or hardware acceleration.
You may try reducing the mouse setting for your computer and check if that helps.

Step 2:
You may also try reducing the hardware acceleration and check if it helps.
To reduce the hardware acceleration follow the below given steps:
a)      Right click on the Desktop.
b)      Select Personalization.
c)      Select Display on the left panel of the window.
d)      Click on ‘Change display settings’.
e)      Click on Advance settings.
f)       Go to Troubleshooter tab and then change settings will allow you to change the hardware acceleration.
 
Step 3:
Update the touch pad drivers from the manufacturer and check if that helps.

Probably this should take care of the duplicating of songs in Windows Media Player as well.

Make Sure that your Hardware Meets the System Requirements

Microsoft Windows Requirements :

• 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
• 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

This error can be due to some configuration requirements for you system. If your computer hardware is not up to par, then make sure you update where necessary before continuing.
