Display screen will not wake up after an over night sleep

This is brand new dell studio 9000 system with a 24" HD screen.
When we use the computer through the day the screen usually wakes up with no problem when we hit a key any key.
When the computer goes to sleep over night the screen will not come on in the
morning.
The computer comes on when I hit a key but the screen will not wake up. It stays in sleep mode and nothing we have tried so far fixes this problem.
We have been on the phone with Dell 7 times for over 10 hours down loading video drivers and changing
system settings.
Dell has had two different tech reps to house and has also swapped out the tower once and still the problem remains.
Do you have a solution for this problem.
Dell is telling me that this is a software issue not a hardware issue.
Please help!
This is a brand new system and its been nothing but trouble since we received this new system.
This is my last attempt to fix this problem.
If you guys can't help I'm just going to send it back and buy another brand.

Download SmartPCFixer to Fix It (Free)

This is likely a BIOS problem or a driver issue.
I would suggest first checking for an updated BIOS for the motherboard.
Then make sure you have drivers for the monitor that resemble the exact model.

I am aware of some problems with NVIDIA 196 drivers, but ATI drivers seem OK with 10.2 after a problem with 10.1 was noted.
Use NVIDIA 195 drivers until a new driver is published.
