In the windows explorer, when we right click on a Office document (.docx,.doc,.xls,.xlsx etc.,), you will find "Save as" as one of the option.
Clicking the save as option will open a Save as dialog box that points to the same location to save.
To one of
our users it points to a different location (last saved location).

We tried so many things to fix this, and at last we found that, in the Environment variables,
- if the values for Temp and Tmp variables is set to be '%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Temp' the "Save As" dialog box pointing to the same location.
- if the values for Temp and Tmp variables is set to be 'C:\Temp' the "Save As" dialog box pointing to last saved location.

Can you please let me know the reason behind this, because to some of the users the value for the environment variables Temp and Tmp are being set to "C:\Temp" in the login script for some other purpose.
The user cannot change these values everytime after
logging into their session.
