## Best formula to calculate these multiple conditions and return a summed value?

I have a large data set, and will need to calculate a large number of summarized data cells, so I'm struggling with how to do this at all, and then if there are multiple methods, which is the most efficient so I don't get locked up in long 'processing....'

Sheet1 contains a list of Cities in column A, Utilities in Column B, and dollars per month in columns C-N
Atlanta Power 55  65  40 90  110  85 (etc)
Atlanta Water  19  22  31  26  27  19 (etc)
Atlanta Sewer  8  11  13  14  9  11 (etc)
Denver Power 71  82  65  58  61  (etc)
Denver Water (etc)

Sheet2 contains a list of unique city names:
Atlanta
Denver

For each city on Sheet 2, I need to tally the total dollars for all utilities excluding sewer

If I was only tallying one column of results, I would use sumproduct, but when I try to include multiple columns in the third parameter, I'm getting incorrect results
=sumproduct((Sheet1!A1:A50000 = "Denver")*1, (Sheet1!B1:B50000 <> "Sewer")*1, (Sheet1!C1:N50000))

I also tried =sumifs, with the same problem when trying to return dynamically the sum of multiple columns when the first two columns match my conditions.

Suggestions on formula/approach would be greatly appreciated! I'm hoping to just get an overall total (Atlanta = 589, based on all the electric and water numbers shown above example).
My alternative is to load the output page with formulas to pre-calc each
of the 12 months, then sum them up, but I'm hoping to find an efficient method to sum all these values within one formula per location.
Many thanks,
Keith

## Keys to the Problem Best formula to calculate these multiple conditions and return a summed value?

Hi,
=sumproduct(--(Sheet1!A1:A50000 = "Denver"), --(Sheet1!B1:B50000 <> "Sewer")* (Sheet1!C1:N50000))

6. Once the files are deleted, open and run the CMD as the administrator and type "wuauclt.exe /updatenow". Press ENTER.
